Project Insights
MixRestore parses your Ableton Live Set files and extracts rich metadata, giving you a bird's-eye view of your project at any point in time.
Metadata
The project header displays key information at a glance:
- BPM — project tempo
- Key — musical key and scale
- Time Signature — e.g., 4/4, 3/4, 6/8
- Ableton Version — which version of Live created the project
Tracks
View a breakdown of your project's track types — audio, MIDI, return, and group tracks. Track counts update with each version so you can see how your project grew over time.
Arrangement
The arrangement visualization shows your project's locator-based sections as a horizontal bar chart. Each section is displayed proportionally based on its length in bars, giving you a visual overview of the song structure.
Hover over any section to see its name and bar range.
Samples
MixRestore lists all audio samples used in the project. For each sample you can see:
- File name and relative path
- Whether it's a Splice sample (detected automatically)
Use the search filter to find specific samples, or copy the full sample list to your clipboard for reference.
