Installation
MixRestore is distributed as a macOS application. Download the latest release and you'll be up and running in under a minute.
Requirements
- macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
- Ableton Live 10, 11, or 12
- Git (included with macOS Command Line Tools)
Download
Purchase and download the latest .dmg from the
MixRestore store.
Install
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag MixRestore into your Applications folder
- Launch MixRestore from Applications or Spotlight
First launch
On first launch, macOS may show a security prompt since MixRestore isn't notarized yet. To proceed:
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security
- Scroll down and click "Open Anyway" next to the MixRestore message
Verify Git is available
MixRestore uses Git for version tracking. Most macOS installations include Git, but you can verify by opening Terminal and running:
git --version If Git isn't installed, macOS will prompt you to install the Command Line Tools.
